May 10th was chick day, as I got a shipment of 25 assorted "Rainbow" layers
to raise from 3 day old chicks to hens. 25 Seems like a lot, but some I am raising
for friends at work. This page may take a bit to load, I just through it together,

They came in a small box 12 inches by 12 inches, in the mail
Well express mail, but still I was surprised that that is how they were shipped.
The first thing you have to do is setup a brooder. Which is basically
an area which the chicks can not escape from, which is warm, and has food
and water. Here are some pictures

Just so my sheep do not feel left out and go on strike, and stop
