May 16th One week old

May 10th was chick day, Now it is one week later.
Man these little animals grow fast and some already have their own personality.
They are getting taller, and the wing / flight feathers are starting to come in
It is intersting how the feathers come in, like little neddles that expand into feathers.
We had only 2 die. One was sick from the start, it probably got injured from being trampled during shipping
I noticed when they arrived they were piled up in a corner of the box and one
didn't look too well. The other one was really small, and it got sick the second night
We brought both inside and fed by serenge to try to save them, but no luck
I was actually amazed how many survived being shipped

I am trying to handle them as much as possible. I hear that is how you
make them get tame. I remember where we used to go camping there was a BardRock
chicken which my grand son used to pick up and carry around. It would be nice to
get these as tame as that one.
